‘State your stand on 10-point reform policy’

Chong Chieng JenKUCHING: Sarawak DAP has challenged PBB to declare their stand on a DAP proposal to bar immediate family members of ministers and assistant ministers from applying for state land and logging licences.
Sarawak DAP Chairman Chong Chieng Jen challenged PBB to state whether they support the proposal or not.
Chong challenged PBB Youth to organise a forum to hear the evidence on cronyism, nepotism and corruption in the Sarawak administration by BN.

The challenge follows PBB Youth’s statement on Wednesday claiming that DAP was talking without producing any proof on their various allegations.
“It’s not true that the allegations are not without basis and have been made with malicious intention,” said Chong in a statement.
Chong, who is also Kuching MP and state assemblyman for Kota Sentosa, wants PBB Youth to state which part of DAP’s 10-point Policy Reform Programme has been adopted by Adenan’s administration.
“PBB Youth had shamelessly claimed that some of DAP’s 10-Point Policy Reform Programme have been adopted by BN,” Chong said.
PBB Youth said some of the same policies and practices have been adopted by the administration in the interest of the people.
But Chong dismissed the claim as a lie.
They have no moral  standing, he said, to claim that the Sarawak government practices clean, fair and good governance.
