KUCHING: The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) has issued a statement calling on Chief Minister Adenan Satem to sack Wong Soon Koh and Jerip Susil from the Sarawak government.

The statement said the duo won their seats on BN-SUPP tickets in the 2011 state election and have since been sacked from the party.
Wong is the Local Government and Community Development Minister while Jerip is the Assistant Public Health Minister.

Both Wong and Jerip have since formed their own party, the United People’s Party (UPP), which is not a member of the ruling coalition.
“They should resign or be sacked from the cabinet,” said SUPP which vowed that it will maintain its “non-negotiable” right to contest in all 19 seats allocated to the party in 2011.
The statement was based on a resolution adopted by the party at the end of its 23rd triennial delegates conference (TDC) on Tuesday.
